Welcome to Little George's

Little George's is a 38 place friendly and caring private day nursery, which caters for children aged between 0 and 5 years old, the nursery provides a stimulating, warm, safe and caring environment where children have a variety of experiences in which to learn and play.

The nursery is open Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm all year round except bank holidays and the 5 non bank holiday days between Christmas and new year. All curriculum activities and meals are included in the fees.

Sessions available:
8:00 – 12:30 (Morning session without lunch)
12:30 – 5:00 (Afternoon without lunch, bring your own snack)
8:00 – 5:00 (Full Day).

If your child is aged 3 or 4 years old you will be able to use your Early Years Educational Entitlement (EEE) which entitles you to 570 hours per year. There is also a scheme for 2 year old’s which offers free entitlement, please ask for more details.

There is also funding available for children aged two, however there is a criteria, this funding is called Early Learning Entitlement for two year old’s. Please ask for further details from the nursery manager.

Staffing: At Little George’s our staff team is mostly qualified with NVQ level 3 or equivalent and are undergoing further training. The nursery believes in personal development and training and follows a training programme, which includes training from both internal and external agencies. All staff is required to hold the first aid certificate and food hygiene.
